WHEN: Saturday, March 31, 2012 | 5-10 pm – First participants can shoot to win. Winners of each hour shoot off during 1/2 time of the Second Game. (around 10ish).

The charity event was a huge success and raised nearly $8000 on this first time event which included a $2500 matching donation from the Modern Woodman!! designed to not only raise funds but moreover, bring My Hope Chest’s unique mission and work to the forefront during breast cancer awareness month.
SHOTGUN START 1pm Lunch and Range time begins at 11:30
Lunch was catered by Domino’s, awards dinner was from the Courtside Grille and 18 holes along the glorious waterfront. There was no lucky winner this year for a Hole-In-One to win the Ed Morse Cadillac… but there is always next year!!

Resinated is an up and coming, hardworking five piece Rock/Reggae outfit that consists of harmonic melodies drawn together through brass and string instruments. Resinated has been together for less than a year and has proven that they are worthy for any stage in any town! Kenny Mullins (vocals, composer and guitarist) created Resinated to be a “Unity” of art, music, and water culture. Hailing from the beaches of Florida, Kenny met John Gray (Lead Guitars and composer) on a skim board in Indian Rocks Beach. Since then they have been shredding all over the coast. Josh Hasak (percussion) and Justin Runfola (bass, artist for band) soon joined after connecting with John and Kenny one night at a gig, and soon after came Cameron Willinger (trumpet and trombone) to add a finishing ingredient to the bands flavor. Together they have played venues such as: Jannus Live, State Theatre, Local 662, Red Mesa Cantina, Venue, Vintage, Brass Mug and many more! They have shared the stage with bands such as: Iration, Stephen Marley, Anberlin, Suenalo, Fayuca, Geri x, Burning Tree, Fiction 20 Down, Authority zero and also have played numerous of charities! Resinated release their first album “Unity” only three months after playing together. They are currently working on their new full- length album due in mid-winter. This album will be the beginning of a long road these guys plan on covering!

Jani Roberts international Zumba Education Specialist led a sold-out crowd giving one of her dynamic and energy pumping Zumba Fitness classes at Shapes to raise proceeds for My Hope Chest. The hard work and event coordination began weeks before led by Zumba instructors Helen Rosado-Velez and Angela Brown, who with a team of die hard Zumba-thuiasts, transformed the fitness room with butterflies and braziers! Vendor also supported the charity with food, massage and more staged throughout the all women’s gym.
Participants designed and wore their own “bling bling” bras over their shirts paying homage to My Hope Chest and further embracing their mission and the importance for every woman who desires to have the opportunity to have both of her breasts restored after cancer, no matter what her financial status.
The event raised $2000 and plans are to do the event again this year!
