Breastless in America ~ Still Waiting… Documentary Coming to GIFF

“Ribbons walks and research matter when breast cancer is your battle. What happens when you’ve almost won? A growing wait list of survivors live MINUS one or both breasts because they lack the means for reconstruction. Feeling disfigured, depressed, less than whole… they long for closure from their disease.

Breastless in america 2X2 LOGO

Breastless in America ~Still Waiting  will release as a Trailer/short at Gasperialla International Film Festival (GIFF ) showing on Saturday, March 28th at 11am.

Alisa Savoretti, Founder of My Hope Chest, has envisioned this documentary to expose the problem thousands (if not millions) of mastectomy survivors are facing…living minus one or both breasts, unable to find closure from the disease because they lack insurance or high Co-Pays to achieve the expensive and complex, one year surgery.

Thanks to the partnership with MHC’s longtime video Angel, Kenny Strawn of Sunstream Productions, the project is being launched at the festival, starting as a trailer as we work to raise funds for the full documentary.

A kickstarter campaign is coming soon to raise $10,000 for the next round of production… stay tuned. Donations are excepted to be restricted to this project, contact for more details.
