“Hope Floats on BRA DAY” is My Hope Chest’s 3rd Annual fundraiser. The significance of the day began in 2012 with the declaration of “Breast Reconstruction Awareness Day” by the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS). The annual event held on the 3rd Wednesday of the month, October 15th this year, was created originally in Canada to highlight the lack of education of breast reconstruction options at point of diagnosis for breast cancer patients.
As the only national not for profit funding reconstruction for uninsured and under insured survivors, My Hope Chest at last, has a voice for our mission to “Create Butterflies” and transform lives!
